You know the room isn’t right. You just can’t say why. The Brief looks at a few phone photos and gives you the words: what the room is reaching for, what’s already working, and what’s quietly fighting itself. Language you can hand a designer, or keep for yourself.

The first ten minutes
  1. Photograph the room that's been bothering you, up to four shots, and let it read the room.
  2. Tap the colors you're drawn to, blues and navies, earth and terracotta, so the read honors your palette.
  3. Copy the finished read as a link and send it to your designer, or the friend who tells you the truth.
